Our Process

  1. Before

    Book a suitable date and time to have the safety check carried out.

    If you work from home or require the use of electrics for any given reason, it is advisable to note that the electrics need to be turned off during the testing period so this may impact the date and time you select for the safety check.

  2. During

    We will arrive at your property and talk you through exactly how the test will be carried out.

    We require access to the following:
    • Fuse Box
    • Sockets
    • Light fittings
    • Light switches
    • Electrical cables
    • Earthing and bonding
    • Kitchen
    • Bathroom

    Having access to all of the above will allow us to fully check the current installation. In the event that any of the installation is unsafe we will accordingly isolate and advise the property owner.

  3. After

    After the safety check has been carried out we will turn the electrics back on.

  4. Payment

    We will invoice for the completed works and once payment is made we will then provide the electrical safety certificate (EICR).

  5. Certificate & Remedial Works

    The certificate will identify if the current installation is a PASS or FAIL. We will be available to discuss any findings identified and provide a quote for any remedial works in the event that the installation is a FAIL.

    Quoted remedial works will be in line with bringing the installation to a PASS status.
